These are a few of my favourite things: Movies: A Good Year. You’ve Got Mail. Mystic Pizza. Chasing Wild Horses. Anything James Bond, old and new Forrest Gump. Pretty Woman. Away from Her. Snowcakes. An American Haunting. What Lies Beneath. Mermaids. Anything Monty Python. My Cousin Vinnie. SATC, the movie. Chocolat. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. My favourite cartoon, my children love it, is Finding Nemo. The graphics are breathtaking. Favourite Books: Le Petit Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, read as an adult. and Love You Forever, by Robert Munsch. Recently I began rereading Women who run with the wolves, by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. A friend reminded me of this book and I am so thankful she did! This book is a real heart and soul inventory taking epiphany. I am a prolific speed reader so will read almost anything, I have read all the Victoria Holt and James Herriot novels, which I highly recommend. I am currently reading The World is Flat, as recommended by a student. I also love cookbooks and like to read them. Favourite Activities: 1. Spending time doing things with my boys. 2. Trying out new recipes, especially ethnic foods chock full of veg and spices. 3. Painting. 4. Playing piano. 5. Working out, at the moment I’m working on Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred, and I do 3 miles of intervals on the Treadmill 5 days per week. 6. I love growing things, vegetables, fruits…we have a huge garden and our best crop is the organic garlic. 7. In Summer we head to the beach and swim our hearts out. Something about the ocean soothes my soul. We always find treasures on the beach, pebbles that are special or look for pretty shells. We also like to canoe and snorkel, although I hate getting my ears wet. Evenings consist of crackling bonfires, a chilled glass of Cassis as we dream and admire the fireflies. 8. In Fall I make Cassis from our Black Currants. I used to give Murray 5 gallons of it, but now I am just storing it away. It will age and become better and better. 9. We also like to use the GPS unit to go Geocaching, which is great fun! Almost like treasure hunting. 10. Finally, in winter, it means lots of shoveling, snowshoeing and sledding. We always go away for March Break to a special Chalet, that has a jacuzzi and a beautiful fireplace. Evenings are spent having a moonlit sleighride with hot cocoa and baked beans for a treat. Life is good. I am thankful.
Caution: Stripping, Hooking and Binding ahead!

I would love to be able to buy your patterns. I love your rugs! Do you sell patterns?
Please let me know, Laurel
Hi! Thanks so much! I do sell paper patterns in the Fall. Sometimes on Ebay, sometimes just through demand. Are there any you are thinking of in particular? Cheers, Cyn
